Caddo Sheriff releases update on possible murder-suicide that happened Monday morning

Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office has launched new data on the potential murder-suicide incident that happened in Keithville Monday morning.

In line with the sheriff’s office, simply earlier than 7 a.m. deputies had been dispatched to the 10000 block of Mustang Circle as a result of a welfare concern. Upon arrival, deputies tried to speak with a person inside the house.

That particular person refused to speak with deputies and later fired a weapon whereas deputies had been attempting to make contact.

The sheriff’s workplace then deployed a drone inside the house and found 4 people who had been believed to be useless, together with the suspect.

Deputies had been in a position to make contact with neighbors, who reported that the alleged suspect was a “doomsday prepper.” The sheriff’s workplace then known as the Shreveport bomb squad to help in looking and clearing the house.

The house was deemed safe, and detective are investigating this incident to find out the trigger.
